We primarily operate in Amsterdam and the surrounding areas. If you're moving from outside the city to Amsterdam, we can assist, but we do not handle relocations outside Amsterdam.

Moving Services

What types of moves do you handle?

We specialise in tenant relocations within Amsterdam or from outside the city to Amsterdam. We do not handle office relocations or moves outside Amsterdam

Do you provide packing materials?

We do not supply packing materials, but we can assist with packing if materials are provided by the client.

Can you assemble and disassemble furniture?

Yes! Our moving service includes furniture assembly and disassembly to ensure a smooth transition.

Do you have a lift or large moving truck?

No, we do not have a lift or a large moving truck. We use standard-sized vehicles, so please inform us in advance if you have large or bulky items to move in order for us to think along!

How far in advance should I book my move?

We recommend booking at least 5-7 days in advance to secure your preferred time slot, especially during busy periods. No request is too crazy for our team, so don’t hesitate to ask!

Cleaning Services

What type of cleaning services do you provide?

We specialise in end-of-tenancy cleaning and real estate-related cleaning, ensuring properties are move-in ready.

How is the cleaning price determined?

Pricing is based on property size, condition, and whether it is furnished or unfurnished. Quotes are given on request.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?

Yes, we bring our own cleaning materials and equipment to ensure high-quality results.

How far in advance should I book a cleaning?

We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, but we will try to accommodate urgent requests when possible.

Do you offer recurring cleaning services?

Currently, we focus on one-time end-of-tenancy and real estate cleaning, but feel free to ask about custom arrangements.

Installation & Handyman Services

What handyman services do you offer?

We help with furniture assembly, hanging curtains, installing light fixtures, painting, and other minor installations.

Do you offer painting services?

Yes, we provide small-scale painting services, such as touching up walls, doors, or trim to refresh a property before a new tenant moves in.

Do I need to provide tools for installations and painting?

No, we bring our own tools and materials for all jobs. However, if you have specific paint colours or finishes you prefer, you may provide them.

How long does an installation or painting job take?

This depends on the complexity of the job. We will provide an estimated time based on your request.

Payments & Terms

How do I pay for the services?

All payments are made via invoice and must be paid through bank transfer. No cash payments are accepted.

 

Is VAT included in the pricing?

Yes, VAT is applied based on Dutch tax regulations:

  • 9% VAT for cleaning and painting services.

  • 21% VAT for moving and installation services.
    All invoices will clearly state the VAT breakdown.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Yes, cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

Are your services insured?

Yes, Moi Amsterdam is fully insured, and we handle all tasks with care to minimise risks.

Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?

We are transparent with pricing, but additional fees may apply for last-minute bookings, extra-heavy items, or special requests requiring additional labour or materials. We will always confirm this before proceeding. No request is too crazy for our team, so don’t hesitate to ask!
